I collect Hutter stoppers, ceramic stoppers from
blob top bottles, swingtops, porcelaine swivel stoppers, lightning
stoppers from breweries world-wide. These stoppers were first used
around 1900, and in some countries such as Germany, the
Netherlands or Switzerland, these types of bottle closures are
still in use today.
The ceramic caps in my collection should originate from breweries,
not from beer bottlers, beer dealers, botteled water factories,
pharmacies, etc. They can be old or new and can be made from
various materials such as ceramic, porcelaine, plastic, ebonite,
My collection currently comprises about 9000 different stoppers
from 42 countries. All of these more than 9000 stoppers are
presented with pictures on this webpage.
I trade and buy ceramic caps.
